Death of Message Box

I decided to remove the Message Box (CBox) from the sidebar. I had simply gotten tired of seeing all of the spammed advertisements for others' blogs in there. However, CBox was resistant to my efforts. It tried to run away, to halt its undeniable fate. Oh, but when will it learn? There is no such thing as coincidence; there is only inevitability.

But alas, CBox came to meet its fate. How, you ask? Long story short, the remains of CBox are now flowing down some South American river, never to be seen again.

I appreciate those of you who left encouraging or positive comments, but about 90% of what was in that box was horribly written advertisements by blog walkers who had no real interest in my writing. Even though I have, what, two regular readers, I still don't like having all of that nonsense of to the side of my posts.

Also, if you are being so generous with your Internet time to read my posts, be sure to follow me with your Google Account so I can see who you are! Thanks!

More posts coming up, fresh from the Void Oven.

Doorsey and the Insano Day

Today was insane. Simply put.

I finished my final exam yesterday for this year of courses. Now I have three months off to enjoy no notes, tests, exams, or late night studying. So I was expecting that the first day of this great break would be lazy and peaceful.

Oh, how wrong I was. The funny thing, though, is that the events of this day actually start last night... kind of. As a result of my late night exam studying Wednesday night, I was exhausted on Thursday. I crashed after eating something... at 6 PM. However, my body was so in need of long sleep that I slept all the way until 3 AM. I awoke lying on top of my bed, no sheets or covers on me, with the lights and fans on. After a few minutes of lazily laying there, I realized it might be a good idea to actually get some real sleep, not fully understanding that I had just accumulating a whopping NINE hours of sleep.

Theory of Chromoperceptive Discontinuity

As you see this screen, you surely are seeing a bit of blue somewhere on-screen. You look outside or above, and yellow lights can be seen shining from some bulb. Perhaps look down below to find a mixture of green and brown earth, or in the fridge for a variety of pink meats, red fruits, and yellow boxes of ingredients.

But just what are these colors? What is red, and what is yellow? What makes purple the color of violets, and green the dress that plants wear? Before you tell me that it's basic primary colors being mixed together, or light being reflected into my cornea, stop and think: what if we didn't all see the same? What if my red was your yellow? Or your black was my white? Or even if my sky blue is your ocean green?

How Fanfics Should Be Written; Squall

I have not read too much fanfiction in my day. I've browsed Kingdom Hearts fanfiction on a wiki related to the KHWiki, and I've read a few pieces some acquaintances of mine have written. One thing in common with almost all of them is that the story is not developed to a high standard, and many elements are left that any basic story should have. All of the effort put into the fanon, if any, is completely worthless when none of it is going toward establishing a good story that follows a diagram of how a story should be constructed.

This is why I cannot read fanfiction: I immediately start criticizing it and thinking of all the ways it could be better. Example, a fanfic being written by an acquaintance of mine's ending was told to me recently, and the whole thing is going to be have a terrible ending. The actually good fanfic is going to crash and burn.

On that note, 0.0000001% of all fanfiction is quality work. The other 99.9999999% is total weaboo/illogical/poorly written nonsense.

And so now, my readers, I introduce to you this fanfiction-writing guide, conceived by Tabbeh and I. Final Fantasy VIII is the base of this fanon, for familiarity and... well, FFVIII just is horrible and laughable in its own right.
